[기도문] 영어예배 대표기도 A List of Representative Prayer

 

대덕한빛교회 영어예배에서 했던 대표기도 기도문에서 했던 기도문을 모아봅니다.

외우지 못해서 어쩔 수 없이 문서로 작성해서 읽었던 기도문이 어느새 이렇게 쌓여 긴 목록이 되었군요.

훌륭한 기도는 아닐지라도 기도하는 마음이 전해지리라 믿습니다.

1. 2006년 4월 16일

 

Father God, thank You for this beautiful Spring day. Today we commemorate Easter. Thank You for forgiving our sins, and letting us have a hope of resurrection. We praise Your unfailing love.

 

Father God, forgive us for our sins in the daily lives. We often hated others, we were not good at loving others. We were not righteous, and we were not earnest in our place. Forgive us and give us Your peace. Make us love others. Make us be righteous and earnest.

 

Father God, we pray for this worship service. Thank You for giving us this great community to worship You. We can see a part of Your kingdom here. We hope we will praise God only in this worship service. We hope we can help and serve one another here. And we hope this service will show kingdom of God to others. When we love one another, they will know that we are disciples of Jesus.

 

Father God, we pray for today’s worship service. When we praise You with our souls, please take our worship and take all the glory. Give us Your words, change our lives by Your words.

 

God, we love you. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

 

 

2. 2006년 6월 25일

 

Father God, thank You for loving us and calling us as your children. Thank You for giving us a chance to worship You. And thank you for making us a community to worship You together.

 

Father God, fifty-six years ago, a terrible war occurred in Korea. It was more terrible because we fought against our brothers and sisters. Please forgive our sins for the war. Please bless this country and cure the people who are still suffering the pain caused by the war. And please bless this country and give us a peace that the world cannot give.

 

Father God, we have gathered from various countries. Sometimes we feel that communicating one another is difficult  because our languages and cultures are different. But we trust that we can communicate by Holy Spirit. Please bless us and make us understand and love one another.

 

Father God, we pray for this worship service. Thank You for giving us this great community to worship You. We can see a part of Your kingdom here. We hope we will praise God only in this worship service. We hope we can help and serve one another here. And we hope this service will show kingdom of God to others. When we love one another, they will know that we are disciples of Jesus.

 

Father God, we pray for today’s worship service. When we praise You with our spirits, please take our worship and take all the glory. Give us Your words, change our lives by Your words.

God, we love You. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

 

 

3. 2007년 2월 25일

Father God, we came together to worship You. Father, we are here to praise You. Please, come and listen to our prayer. Please, come and be glorified through our worship.

Thank You, Father, for giving Yourself as a great gift. Thank You for sending Your one and only son Jesus and saving us. We have gotten the eternal life and we will live in your presence forever.

Please make this congregation be a channel for foreigners to meet God. Especially lead people who didn’t have enough chances to hear about Jesus to this church.

Father, please bless every cell group for that every cell group meeting will be full of Your presence.

Father, please get today’s worship service, and pour Your holy spirit to all members. We thank You for all.

We pray in Jesus name.

Father God, thank You for loving us and calling us as Your children. Thank You for giving us a chance to worship You. And thank You for making us a community to worship You together.

 

Father God, we still commit sins even though we became Your children by the cross of Christ. We confess our sins here, please forgive us and make us know You are near.

 

Father God, it’s a great grace of You that made Your people from various countries worship You here, together. As we came from various countries, one we will go back to many different home countries. We have a dream here. When each member of this congregation goes back to his or her home country, we hope that they will be leaders of their own tribe. Please teach and prepare us enough to be leaders of each one’s tribe, and use this congregation to train us.

 

Father God, we pray for today’s worship service. When we praise You with our spirits, please take our worship and take all the glory. Give us Your words, and change our lives by Your words. When we listen to Your words, make us focus only on what You want to say to us today.

 

Father, we love You. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

 

 

5. 2008년 4월 27일

Father God, thank You for loving us and calling us as Your children. Thank You for giving us a chance to worship You. And thank You for making us a congregation to worship You together.

Father, we praise You for You love that saved us. Because You loved us, we could gather here together. We believe that Your love is so powerful that we can overcome any difficulties to love one another. As in the Bible, we believe that when we love one another, all men will know we are disciples of Jesus. Bless this congregation and let us love one another as Jesus did.

Father, receive our praise when we worship You and praise You by singing together. We sing not for ourselves, not for any other thing, but only for praising You, God. We don’t want to just sing the songs, and we don’t want to just shout, but we really want to praise You with all of our heart. Bless our praising team, and let them lead the praising time in the presence of Holy Spirit.

Father God, give us today Your words, and change our lives by Your words. When we listen to Your words, make us focus only on what You want to say to us today.

Father, we love You. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

6. 2009년 8월 2일

Father God, thank You for gathering us here together to worship and praise you. Thank You for guiding us everyday in our daily life.  Most of all, we thank You for Your great love saving us from sin.

Father we praise You, You created the world, and loved us and sent us Your one and only Son to save us. We were born again, and now we are your children. We praise You.

Father, thank You for giving chance to meet our brothers and sisters from various countries and tribes in this congregation. We want to know one another more and love one another, please help us. Each of us has different problem, please hear our voices. Some of us are even in a difficult situation to come to church and worship You together. Father, don't stay away from them, we believe You will be with them when they are in difficulties.

Father God, I've heard there is a serious situation in Nigeria. About 700 died in violence. We don't know what's exactly happening there and we don't know what is Your will on it, but we one thing we know is that our Father God is loving God, who never stop loving His people. Please Holy Spirit, come to Nigeria, and help people in danger.

Father, we pray for pastor Mark Yansen, who will deliver Your message to us today. Your Spirit come to him when he preaches, and Father, teach us through him.

Father, we love You.
